Anastasia Barzee is a distinguished American actress and singer whose versatile career spans Broadway, London's West End, film, and television. Raised in Miami, Florida, she earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Miami's Frost School of Music and further honed her acting skills under the tutelage of renowned mentors such as Charles Nelson Reilly, Burt Reynolds, Austin Pendleton and Jose Quintero.
Barzee made her Broadway debut as Ellen in Miss Saigon and went on to deliver notable performances on Broadway as Emma in Jekyll & Hyde, Hope in Urinetown, and Lady Mortimer in Lincoln Center's acclaimed production of Henry IV alongside Kevin Kline and Audra McDonald. She also originated the roles of Josephine in London's Napoleon and Betty Haynes in White Christmas
Her screen credits are equally impressive, with appearances in television series such as Grey's Anatomy, The Affair, The Good Fight, The Law & Order: SVU, Madam Secretary, The Blacklist, Younger and others. In film, she portrayed Lisa Bloom in the 2022 drama She Said, which delves into the investigative journalism that helped ignite the #MeToo movement.
